MODEL train lovers flocked to enjoy the 46th annual Colchester and District Model Railway exhibition.
About 400 people went along to the popular event at Colchester County High School for Girls, in Norman Way, Colchester, to see the miniatures in action.
Organisers spent hours setting up the displays and visitors were able to take a look at 12 model railway layouts on the day.
They could also browse stalls selling a variety of model railway-related items.
Exhibition manager Bill Bradbury said: “It went very well. We had a great time.
“The turnout was similar to last year, which was good.”
Mr Bradbury said the club is already looking ahead to next year’s event which he hopes will be held on November 2, 2014.
