A HIGH-TECH business has doubled the size of its premises with a move to an out-of-town site.
Nordson DAGE has switched from Greenstead Road, Colchester, to a 12,500 sq ft building at Phoenix Square, on Severalls Business Park.
Finance director Phil McMahon said: “This new facility will allow us to grow our business in Colchester.”
The company designs and manufactures X-ray inspection machines, which are distributed worldwide.
Its Colchester office serves as a research and development centre.
The firm, which has its UK base in Buckinghamshire, said it would announce how many jobs had been created at a launch event next month.
Jeremy Newman, managing director of Newman Commercial, who handled the letting for Nordson DAGE, said the premises offered the potential for expansion space.
