FAMILY heirlooms worth tens of thousands of pounds have been stolen from a home in West Bergholt.
Thieves raided the property on Mumford Road on Saturday, October 26, between 4pm and 7.15pm.
They stole tens of thousands of pounds worth of jewellery and cash after forcing their way through a rear window.
Det Con Claire Jennings said: "The victim is devastated because some of the jewellery was of great sentimental value and had been given to her by her late mother.
"She is hoping that people will come forward with information to help her get those items back so that they can be passed on to her own children.”
