POLICE have launched a manhunt after a teenager girl was robbed at knifepoint by a masked attacker.
The 18-year-old student was walking along Elmstead Road in Colchester in the early hours of Saturday morning when she was approached by the robber wearing a balaclava.
He showed her a knife and demanded her bag, which she handed over.
Police launched an immediate hunt for the man but could not find him.
Anyone with information about the robbery, at 2am today, is asked to contact Essex Police on 101.
