HR Administration Assistant
Based: Colchester

The Role:

Newsquest (Essex) Ltd is part of England’s largest regional newspaper publisher, with a varied portfolio of newspapers, websites and magazines. We are currently seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to join our HR team based in Colchester.

The Person

Average days don’t exist in our HR office, so we are not looking for an average administrator. We need someone who can always deliver a high quality, professional HR administrative service. Often under pressure, dealing with confidential and sensitive matters you will need a proactive approach to everything you do, and constantly be striving to improve the way you do it. Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail are a must as are building positive working relationships and establishing rapport with people at all levels.
An intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential.
Previous administrative experience within a fast paced environment is preferred; ideally within a HR team (although this is not essential as HR training will be provided).

The Package

If you think you are what we are looking for, we can offer you the following benefits:

  • Salary: up to £16,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • 6.6 weeks holiday (inclusive of bank/public holiday entitlement)
  • Workplace Pension Scheme
