Record number of companies start in Colchester in first half of the year
THE number of new companies starting up in Colchester has hit a new record high.
In the first half of 2013, 773 companies were formed in Colchester, which is 2 per cent higher than the 2012 figure of 758, which itself was a new record.
In the same period, the number of new companies in the UK increased by 6.4 per cent.
