LITTLE ones celebrated the saints as part of an event put on by a Colchester church.
St Leonard’s Church, in Lexden Road, Colchester, welcomed youngsters to the church to make saint masks, gingerbread men and even for a sing-a-long.
Jacquie Messinger, who organised the event, called Holy Commotion, said: “We love putting these on for the kids, they always have a great time and they might even learn a little about the saints.”
As part of the session, kids made dragon masks, which were to represent St George.
Mrs Messinger added: “We had a really nice range of kids here, from just below one to ten-years-old and everyone seemed to enjoy the different activities.”
