A VAN driver has been arrested after a woman was knocked off her moped.
The woman, from Colchester, was taken to hospital after the incident on the A133 at Clingoe Hill, between the Hythe and Elmstead Market.
It is thought her injuries were not critical.
The incident involving a van and the moped happened shortly before 4.45pm on Friday.
A 53-year-old man from Harlow was later arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and actual bodily harm.
He was released on police bail until Friday July 21 pending further enquiries.
