Ill sailor airlifted to hospital
LIFEBOAT crews were launched to a sailor taken ill at sea.
A West Mersea RNLI boat and air ambulance were sent to Lawrence Bay at around 3.30pm on Sunday.
A man was treated on board his boat and later airlifted to Colchester General Hospital.
