AN OAK tree has been planted at a Colchester school from an acorn found just down the road.
St James’ Primary School, in Guildford Road, had to remove an existing tree and were keen to replace it.
Town MP Sir Bob Russell stepped in with a sapling he had cultivated from acorn in Castle Park, around the corner from the school.
