TWO men have been arrested after a stabbing in Colchester.

A man in his 30s is believed to have been involved in a row with others when a knife was pulled on him, on Wednesday, February 6.

He suffered superficial stab wounds and managed to stumble into the nearby Co-op store, in Fivefields Court, where he was helped by staff.

The victim was taken to Colchester General Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Police arrested two men in connection with the stabbing on Sunday.

A 22-year-old man from Colchester and a 20-year-old man of no fixed address were arrested in the town in the early hours.

They were arrested on suspicion of serious assault.
