COLLEGE students have raised £416 for Children in Need.
Childcare students at the Colchester Institute, in Sheepen Road, Colchester, dressed in their pyjamas and onesies for the day and also sold pictures with Mr Blobby to staff and students for £1, raising £55.
Business students also held a cake sale and a penalty shoot out in the sports hall, raising £74.
Students also held parody fortune telling sessions and raised £28.
Learning for Living students put their walking boots on to take part in a 1.5mile sponsored walk around Colchester Castle Park as well as holding a coffee morning and a bric a brac stall, which collected £81.54 in two hours.
Sales from chocolate raffles also added to the pot, with £158.42, while all library fines paid on November 16 were also donated to the charity.
