“The staff were friendly from the moment you walked through the door, and nothing was too much trouble.
“The food was beautifully presented and absolutely scrumptious!
“The sandwiches were lovely and fresh, and I particularly liked that we could choose our own fillings in advance.
“The cheese and plain scones light and crumbly and still warm and the selection of cakes were delicious.

One said: “Just back from a weekend away in the area and happened upon this lovely cafe in the centre of Dedham - what a gem.
“Dog friendly, which is so important to us, with a constant flow of customers through both doors.
“A hotch-potch of different tables and a lovely friendly welcome from the waiting staff.
“We plumped for the Coronation Chicken and Ham sandwiches washed down with some lovely strong tea - perfect! The cakes looked amazing, but we were full.”

One review said: “We wanted a local place for afternoon tea and weren't disappointed, we needed to add an extra person at the last minute, but this wasn't a problem and was sorted out easily.
“On arrival we were warmly welcomed and attended to very quickly.
“The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food came out and just wow.
“It looked so fresh and appetising and when it hit the taste buds it was amazing.
“Unfortunately, we couldn't manage it all, but they provide boxes to take home any leftovers.
“We will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere to go with both good service and amazing food!”
