THE musical phenomenon Footloose will explode onto the stage at full speed in June.
The award-winning Youth Theatre Performerz will be performing the classic 80s anthems in the electrifying dance show.
The youngsters will sing hits including, Holding Out For A Hero, Almost Paradise and Let’s Hear It For The Boy.
Based on the hit 80s movie, which launched the careers of Kevin Bacon, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jon Lithgow, Footloose has been a big hit in the West End and Broadway with its non-stop music and high energy dancing.
Melissa Wenn is directing with choreography by Simone Castle and musical direction by Neil Whitfield.
The musical hits the Princes Theatre, in Clacton, on Thursday June 14 and runs until June 16. Performances at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
