Former Baywatch star Carmen Electra has revealed Simon Cowell would tell her what to say when she appeared as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.
The American model and actress had a short-lived spell on the ITV show in 2012 when she covered for Amanda Holden during her maternity leave.
Carmen, 43, failed to impress some audience members who reportedly heckled her during filming, while fellow judge David Walliams joked recently that the reason she was hired was because Simon wanted to “get off” with her.
Speaking at a charity event in Los Angeles, Carmen admitted Simon would give her “hints” and “little things to say” when she was on the judging panel.
She said: “I loved sitting next to Simon. He was antagonising me the whole time.
“He was helping me. He would tell me little hints or little things to say.
“It was a blast. I loved it. I would go back any time.
“If anyone’s on a break, Simon – I would love to go back.”
Former Playboy model Carmen, who attend the Annual Race to Erase MS Gala at the Beverly Hilton hotel, said Britain’s Got Talent was “so different” to the American version and she was surprised to see fans “line up for the show in London on the streets”.
She said: “I had no idea, going on to set, walking out of the limousine, there would be fans everywhere who loved and support the show. It was incredible. It was a wonderful experience.”
Asked whether she got on with David, Carmen replied: “Yeah, yeah it was fine. I remember Simon more than anything because he was cracking me up. He is so funny.”
