FANS will never get a chance to see the real Freddie Mercury performing again of course, but they can enjoy a spectacular concert celebrating Queen’s finest-ever live performances.

The Bohemians, a Queen tribute band, is putting on the show, re-enacting on stage the glory days of the group, “including the craziness of the Seventies and the magic of the Eighties”.

Freddie is played by Rob Comber, who also plays guitar and piano. Christopher Gregory is on lead guitar and backing vocals. Wayne Bourne is on drums and backing vocals and Kevin Goodwin on bass guitar and backing vocals.

The costumes, production and set will take you back to the early Seventies and Queen’s 40th anniversary of playing the iconic Rainbow Theatre in 1974.

Established in 1996, the Bohemians have performed all over the UK, Europe and the world at stadiums, festivals, theatres and other prestigious venues.

Their high-energy two-hour show with full staging, lighting, backdrops and pyrotechnics has earned them the reputation of being the world’s most exciting Queen tribute act.

Expect hits such as Killer Queen, Somebody To Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, You’re My Best Friend, We Are The Champions and the amazing award-winning Boh-emian Rhapsody, plus guitar-led anthems Tie Your Mother Down, Hammer To Fall, One Vision, I Want It All and We Will Rock You.

The Bohemians will appear at the Towngate Theatre, Basildon, on Friday October 10, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £17.50, available via towngate theatre.co.uk
