I am not much of a football fan, and the run of the mill leagues tend to pass me by. But every your years, I work and live in front of a TV when the World Cup is on.

I just enjoy the fact the whole world is involved and where once the little teams were crushed with massive scores, the field is now somewhat more level.

And now we can run our own championship at home on our consoles, and it’s great. Player in the way? Jump over them to get that vital header in.

EA has long done football the way it should be and they don’t disappoint here either – even the hue of the matches changes from day to night. There is some great training so you and your players get better at mastering the now myriad skills available.

It features multiple innovations and improvements over FIIFA 14; putting players in control of their nation’s fate. From the ability to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction quickly on and off the ball with Explosive Movement, to the new World Class Control feature that uses Response Dribbling and Pinpoint Passing, fans will feel the athleticism and skill of their national football heroes. And one hundred new animations, including passing, saves, and penalty kicks, help play on the pitch explode with the drama and unpredictably of the official tournament.

The numbers, as you might image, are huge. With 203 national teams, 7,469 players, 19 officially licensed managers, and 21 new stadiums including all 12 authentic stadiums from Brazil, the 2014 FIFA World Cup comes to life with more detail and authenticity than ever before.
