We moved in as our first daughter was almost 3 and our second daughter was born here. Being reserved, we slowly got to know our neighbours which was ok as they are friendly without being pushy. Several other young families grew up in and moved on from the close over the past 30+ years including our own girls. It has been very useful having a supermarket and town centre shops just a mile down the road, while 5 minutes walk up the road will bring you to the Co-op, local stores and PO. Bringing up children we found the infant/junior school just past the local shops and the seniors school 5 mins walk down the road, made taking and picking up each at their appropriate times most convenient.

They have now both got their own families and it is time for us to move closer to the grandchildren.

It is hard to leave the quiet, friendly neighbourhood we have spent so much time in, but with our 2nd grandchild arriving it is time to start a new future.
