(Footpath 27, East Donyland) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2016

Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 20th December 2017. Effect of the order: to temporarily close that length of Footpath 27, East Donyland in the Borough of Colchester, from the point at which the Footpath enters the former port to the west adjacent to No.55 High Street, Rowhedge, south east then south west to its junction with Footpath 24 and 26.

The alternative route will be via Footpath 24.

The Order came into effect on 20th December 2016 and is required

for the safety of the public and workforce while the final stage of

the reconstruction works to the river wall are undertaken which has

corroded.

Borough of Colchester Notice of the Making of an Order Footpath 16 Stanway

The above Order made on 19th May, 2017 will divert a part length of public Footpath 16 in the Parish of Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, The diversion is required because the mineral company who are working the quarry wishes to divert the path from its current definitive route where mineral extraction is still taking place onto a restored section of land where digging has been completed. A part length of Footpath 16 Stanway, being two metres in width starting from Warren Lane at grid reference 9476,2229 and running in a north-westerly then northerly direction on the west side of Warren Lane and across the Quarry site for a distance of approximately 790 metres to grid reference 9456,2305 where it connects with Footpath 15 Stanway, will be diverted to a route commencing from grid reference 9492,2275 on Warren Lane and running in a west north-westerly direction along an existing track for a distance of 254 metres to grid reference 9468,2228 and then in a generally northerly direction to the east side of the leachate lagoon and running along and within the track in a for a distance of approximately 235 metres to grid reference 9465,2306 where it connects to Footpath 15 Stanway The new path is two metres in width

A copy of the above Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Colchester Borough Council Offices and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of an Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2 Seax House, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 29th June, 2017 and should state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order If an Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985. (Roosevelt Way, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Roosevelt Way, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Stalin Road to its junction with Barn Hall Avenue, for a distance of approximately 268m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th June 2017 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2202998 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Churchill Way, Stalin Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 1st June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Church Lane, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 1290m in a Southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th June 2017

for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2227079 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Church Lane, Tollgate Road, Tollgate West, Western Approach, London Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 1st June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Cage Lane, Boxted & Chapel Road, Boxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Cage Lane, Boxted and Chapel Road, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Boxted Straight Road to the junction with Mill Road, Boxted, a distance of approximately 1791 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th June 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2226476 - Essex County Council & EP201EH2228036 -Essex County Council)with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Cage Lane, Straight Road, Boxted Straight Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 1st June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Florries Road, Great Tey, & Burnthouse Road, Great Tey & Burnthouse Road, Earls Colne (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Florries Road, Great Tey & Burnthouse Road, Great Tey & Burnthouse Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from the junction with the road to Florries Farm for a distance approximately 350 m in a Northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th August 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CN17W08AUGIBP1PRAK/Prak1/ Prak2- BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while restoring service works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Burnthouse Road, Earls Colne Road, Newbarn Road, Brook House Road, Flories Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 1st June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.8) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in Schedule 1.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 15th June 2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th June 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. (Dyers Road, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dyers Road, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Blackberry Road for a distance of approximately 260 m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th August 2017 for 47 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD038SEW-10732-01 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe laying works are undertaken by Anglian Water

The Works will be carried out in 2 phases, with phase 1 commencing on the above date. Phase 1 will be from the junction with Blackberry Road, to its junction with Egremont Way. Phase 2 will be from the junction with Egremont Way to a point approximately 130 m in a southeasterly direction.

An alternative route is available via Blackberry Road, Warren Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 14th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Street, Kirby Le Soken) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Kirby le Soken in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 180 m east of its junction with mumfords Lane for a distance of approximately 36 m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th July 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000601883 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Halstead Road, Frinton Road, Thorpe Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 15th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
