Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 19, Earls Colne, in the District of Braintree from its junction with Footpath 20, Earls Colne, in a generally north westerly direction for a distance of 575 metres to its junction with the access footpath to Hillie Bunnies.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 30 July 2018 for 6 months or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electricity connection works associated with the residential development are undertaken by UKPN.

The alternative route will be via: Footpath 20, Earls Colne, A1124 High Street footway, Queens Road footway, Hillie Bunnies footway, Footpath 19, Earls Colne and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30 July 2018 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order Footpaths 49 And 87 Sible Hedingham In The District of Braintree

On 09 July 2018 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order map is to divert:

i) a part length of Footpath 49 commencing from a point at grid reference 57754,23332 within the property curtilage of Clifton House on the south western side of the adjacent property boundary approximately 60 metres north west of its junction with Footpath 87, proceeding in a west north-westerly direction through the trees and scrubland continuing across the garden curtilage between the Clifton House buildings for a total distance of approximately 150 metres to its junction with Footpath 87 at grid ref 57740,23336 on the south side of the southern corner of the adjacent property known as High View. To an alternative



route commencing from the aforementioned point approximately 60 metres north west of its junction with Footpath 87, proceeding in a north westerly direction on the south western side of the adjacent boundary fence for a distance of approximately 123 metres to the north eastern corner of the Clifton House property north of the telecommunication masts at grid ref 57748,23342 then proceeding south westerly for a final distance of approximately 97 metres adjacent to the southern side of the boundary fence to the aforementioned point connecting to Footpath 87

ii) a part length of Footpath 87 commencing from a point at grid ref 57749,23322 in the south western corner of the Clifton House property at its junction with Lamb Lane, proceeding in a north easterly direction through the woodland for a distance of approximately 132 metres to its junction with Footpath 49 at grid ref 57760,23330 approximately 40 metres south west



of the property known as Little Acre. To an alternative route commencing from the aforementioned point at its junction with Lamb Lane proceeding in an east north-easterly direction parallel with Lamb Lane north of the ditch for a distance of approximately 60 metres to grid ref 57755,23324 where Lamb Lane turns more easterly, then continuing north easterly away from Lamb Lane through the woodland for a final distance of approximately 78 metres to the aforementioned junction with Footpath 49

iii) a further part length of Footpath 87 commencing from a point at grid ref 57747,23325 on the eastern side of the ditch adjacent to the property boundary of Pest House approximately 40 metres north westerly of its junction with Lamb Lane, proceeding in a north westerly direction through the trees and scrub passing to the west of the Clifton House building for a total distance of approximately 130 metres to the aforementioned point on the south side of the southern corner of the adjacent property known as High View. To an alternative route commencing from the aforementioned point on the eastern side of the boundary with Pest House proceeding generally east north-easterly through the woodland for a total distance of approximately 105 metres to connect with Footpath 49 at grid ref 57756,23331.



A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Braintree District Council Offices, Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree CM7 9HB and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

The alternative routes come into force on 07 August 2018, and the old routes shall be stopped up with effect from 14 August 2018, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 20 July 2018 make an application to the High Court.

(Park Road, Wickham St. Paul) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Wickham St. Paul in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010456198 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via The Green, Church Road, Broad Road, Hedingham Road, Bulmer Tye, Sudbury Road, Long Gardens, Catley Cross, Park Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ronald Road, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ronald Road, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Tidings Hill to its junction with White Horse Avenue, a distance of approximately 405m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2252246 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Tidings Hill, White Horse Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months

(Church Road, Belchamp Walter) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Belchamp Walter in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Munts Farm Road for a distance of approximately 1400m in a southerly direction (Including both junctions with Hall Road). The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th August 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2253018 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Hall Road, North Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
