Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Sections 119 & 118 Diversion of Footpaths 20, 22, 23 And 27 Extinguishment of Footpath 77 Roxwell In the City of Chelmsford Public Path Orders

The above Orders confirmed under sections 119 and 118 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert public footpaths 20, 23, 22 and 27 in the parish of Roxwell in the City of Chelmsford as shown on the Order maps contained in the Orders. Footpath 77 which will become a dead end path as a result of these diversions and therefore is considered as not needed for public use.

A part length of Footpath 23 Roxwell commencing from grid reference 56335,20820 running in a south westerly direction between farm buildings then in a generally westerly direction for a distance of 123 metres to grid reference 56325,20816, then continuing as Footpath 20 Roxwell running in a west north westerly direction across the field for a final distance of 428 metres to grid reference 56283,20826 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same starting point and running in a westerly direction for a distance of 103 metres to grid reference 56325,20820, then continues in a west north westerly direction across the field for a final distance of 420 metres to the same point of termination where it continues unaffected. A part length of Footpath 20 Roxwell commencing from grid reference 56325,20816 and running in an easterly then north easterly direction north of the wood known as Ring Grove for a distance of 475 metres to where it connects to Footpath 27 Roxwell will be diverted to a new route starting from the same above point and running in an east south easterly direction to the south side of the wood known as Ring Grove for a distance of 390 metres to where it will connect to the new proposed route of Footpath 27 Roxwell.

A part length of Footpath 27 Roxwell starting from grid reference 56378,20810 and running in a generally south easterly direction parallel with the brook for a distance of a 945 metres to grid reference 56335,20820 will be diverted to a new route starting from grid reference 56325,20820 and running in a generally south easterly direction alongside the brook for a distance of 558 metres then continuing in a south easterly direction alongside the brook for a distance of 432 metres to the same termination point stated above where it continues unaffected.

A part length of Footpath 77 Roxwell commencing from grid reference 56379,20803 where it connects to Footpath 76 and running in a south westerly direction for a distance of 54 metres to grid reference 56374,20800 where it connects to Footpath 27 Roxwell will be extinguished as not need for public use. As due to the above diversion it will become a dead end path.

A copy of the above Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Chelmsford City Council Offices and at Chelmsford Public Library Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of an Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. The new routes came into effect on 12th June, 2018. However, if any person aggrieved by an order, wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, make an application to the High Court. Public Path Order In the City of Chelmsford Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 Sections 119 Footpath 11 Great Waltham

The above Order, confirmed on 22nd June, 2018 by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs with one condition, will divert Footpath 11 in the parish of Great Waltham in the City of Chelmsford under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The new route will be 2 metres wide.

The condition stated that the text of the Order in Part 1 of the schedule be changed be changed from Footpath (14) to Bridleway (14). A part length of Footpath 11 starting from grid reference 56631,217082 at its junction with the B1008 and running in a north easterly, southerly, and then generally south easterly, trajectory across a field for a total distance of approximately 710 metres to grid reference 56797,21773 where it meets Footpath 14 Great Waltham will be diverted to an alternative route commencing at grid reference 56629,21790 some 80 metres north of the existing path and running in a south easterly direction parallel to the B1008 for a distance of 560 metres to grid reference 56659,21744 where it meets with Bridleway 14. A copy of the above Order and the Order Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Chelmsford City Council Offices, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford CM1 1JE and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. But if any person aggrieved by the above order want to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in them, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to an Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 5th July, 2018 make an application to the High Court. (ECN07069 (Riverside Walk), Chelmsford (Footpath and Cyclepath) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of ECN07069 (Riverside Walk), Chelmsford (Footpath and Cyclepath), in the City of Chelmsford, from the junction with Victoria Road footpath for a distance of approximately 150m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th June 2018 for 6 months, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231001863 - Chelmsford City Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while site access works are undertaken by Chelmsford City Council. An alternative route is available via Victoria Road, Waterloo Lane, Ecn07069 and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th June 2018 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Larks Lane, Great Waltham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Larks Lane, Great Waltham in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 260m east of its junction with Hoe Lane for a distance of approximately 460m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd July 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0000000IBB9MHMU - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to replace a telephone pole and overhead cables are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Larks Lane, Hoe Lane, South Street, The Village, Chelmsford Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colchester Road, Chelmsford) (Temporary Suspension of Cycle Lane) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the cycle lane in that length of Colchester Road, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford from White Hart Lane roundabout for a distance of approximately 460m in a northeasterly direction. The suspension is scheduled to commence on 23rd July 2018 for 6 months, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231002385 - Henderson and Taylor). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway widening works are undertaken by Henderson and Taylor.

The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(White Hart Lane, Chelmsford & Colchester Road, Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of White Hart Lane, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from Colchester Road roundabout for a distance of approximately 125m in a northwesterly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford from White Hart Lane roundabout for



a distance of approximately 460m in a northeasterly direction.

3. To temporarily introduce a 30 mph speed limit on that length of White Hart Lane, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from Colchester Road roundabout for a distance of approximately 125m in a northwesterly direction.



4. To temporarily introduce a 30 mph speed limit on that length of Colchester Road, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford from White Hart Lane roundabout for a distance of approximately 460m in a northeasterly direction.



The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 23rd July 2018 for 197 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP02231002385 - Henderson and Taylor) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The restrictions is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway widening works are undertaken by Henderson and Taylor.

Please note: The closures will not be in force for the whole duration please see www.roadworks.org for more information. The Order will come into effect on 12th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
