(Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) (Amendment No.25) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Effect of the order: 1. To revoke limited waiting 2 hours no return within 2 hours 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and replace with limited waiting 2 hours no return within 2 hours 8am to 6pm (Monday to Sunday) on the following lengths of road in the Parish of Dedham in the Borough of Colchester

Road Description
High Street - South side from its junction with Royal Square west for Dedham 41.8 metres
North side from a point 17 metres west from its junction with Mill Lane west for 14.7 metres
North side from a 31.7 metres west of its junction with Mill Lane west for 20.7 metres
North side from a point 52.4 metres west of its junction with Mill Lane west for 13.7 metres
North side from a point 71.1 metres west of its junction with Mill Lane west for 8 metres
North side from its junction with Threadneedle Street southwest for 13.5 metres Brook Street - North side from a point 18.5 metres southwest of Dedham its junction with Threadneedle Street southwest for 41 metres
North side from a point 58.5 metres southwest of its junction with Threadneedle Street southwest for 8 metres
South side from its junction with Royal Square east for 23.3 metres
South side from a point 42.2 metres southwest from its junction with Royal Square east for 19.7 metres North side from a point 30 metres east of its junction with Mill Lane east for 63 metres

All other existing waiting and loading restrictions currently in place and shown on the associated maps (TM055 330, TM055 332 and TM055 335) to be made into Map Based Traffic Regulation Orders (times and type of restriction are not changing)

2. To introduce no stopping Mon-Fri 8.30-9.30am - 2.45-3.45pm on School Entrance Markings on the following lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester

Road Description
Mill Road - Both sides from west facing boundary wall of number 26 Colchester Mill Road for a distance of 42.0 metres east Raven Way - West side from the south facing boundary wall of Myland Colchester Primary school for a distance of 31.3 metres north East side from the south facing boundary wall of number 1 Raven Way for a distance of 38.5 metres north
3. To introduce no waiting at any time on the following lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester

Road Description
Nayland Road East side from the boundary of numbers 71/77 Nayland- Myland Road for a distance of 24.0 metres north
Boxted Road Both sides from the junction with Boxted Road to a- (St Pauls point level with the north facing boundary wall of Hospital slip Formosa road)

4. To revoke no waiting/no loading at any time on the following lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester and replace with no waiting at any time.

Road Description

Boxted Road West side 16.0 metres north from the southern- (St Pauls boundary wall of Laurel Court north for 16.5 metres East side 16.0 metres north from the southern boundary  wall of Laurel Court north for 6.8 metres, east for 6.6
metres, north for 5.6 metres, west for 5.8 metres and north for 30.0 metres (includes the turning hammerhead)
5. To introduce resident permit holders only (zone BR1) on the following lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester

Road Description
Boxted Road West side 32.5 metres north from the southern
- (St Pauls boundary wall of Laurel Court north for its entire length  West side from the north facing boundary wall Formosa to a point 16.0 metres north of the south
facing boundary wall of Laurel Court East side from a point level with the north facing boundary wall of Formosa to a point 16.0 metres north of the south facing boundary wall of Laurel Court All residential properties on the West side of Boxted Road (St Pauls Hospital service road), from Paita to Kingswood will be able to purchase up to 2 parking permits and unlimited visitor permits This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) Order 2014 by inserting tile numbers TM055 330, TM055 332, TM055 335 & TL985 287 and by substituting tile numbers TL985 285 to revision 2, TL990 285 to revision 1, TL990 287 to revision 1, TL990 277 to revision 1 & TL985 277 to revision 1.
Date of operation: THE Order will come into operation on 01 June 2018. Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose. (Bounstead Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bounstead Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Berechurch Hall Road to its junction with Bounstead Hill, a distance of approximately 1400m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th May 2018 for 7 days (works between 09:30 - 15:30), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2246690 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Bounstead Road, Bounstead Hill, Abberton Road, Malting Green Road, High Road, Layer Road, Berechurch Hall Road and vice versa
The Order came into effect on 17th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Tiptree Road, Messing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tiptree Road, Messing in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with School Road for a distance of approximately 340m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W026MAYEA3PDH33A -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while restoring customer service works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via School Road, Kelvedon Road, Tiptree Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(School Road, Copford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Copford in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 460m south of its junction with Allendale Drive for a distance of approximately 80m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th May 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM54575936 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing manhole cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Birch Road, Hardys Green, Maldon Road, Beckingham Hall Road, Birch Park, Warren Lane, Western Approach, London Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(George Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Suspension of One Way) & (Maidenburgh Street, Colchester) (Suspension of One Way, Introduction of One Way & Prohibition of Entry) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of George Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction.

2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in George Street, Colchester as detailed in the 'Essex County Council (Various Roads, Dutch Quarter, Colchester) (Prohibition of Driving, Length Restriction and One Way) Order'.

3. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in Maidenburgh Street, Colchester as detailed in the 'Essex County Council (Various Roads, Dutch Quarter, Colchester) (Prohibition of Driving, Length Restriction and One Way) Order'.

4. To temporarily introduce a one way restriction in Maidenburgh Street, Colchester from its junction with George Street in and north to south direction.

5. To temporarily introduce a prohibition of entry into Maidenburgh Street, Colchester from its junction with High Street.

The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(BC006MU1WBAUSEIBT38TFY06 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via East Stockwell Street, Williams Walk and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rosemary Road, Clacton-on-Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
Closure a) To temporarily close that length of Rosemary Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with The Grove to its junction with High Street, a distance approximately 78m. Closure b) To temporarily close that length of Rosemary Road, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with The Grove to its junction with Station Road, a distance of approximately 70m.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 5 days (closures to run consecutively), or where stated on a valid permit (MT001044117 - Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying four new service connections works are undertaken by Affinity Water
Alternative routes are available via The Grove, Alexandra Road, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(King Harold Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of King Harold Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Shrub End Road to its junction with Ambrose Avenue, a distance of approximately 670m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th May 2018 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2248224 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Shrub End Road, Straight Road, Ambrose Avenue and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bounstead Road, Layer De La Haye) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bounstead Hill, Layer De La Haye in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Bounstead Road to its junction with Abberton Road, a distance of approximately 293m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2018 for 5 days (works between 09:30 -16:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2247188 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Bounstead Road, Berechurch Road, Berechurch Hall Road, Layer Road, High Road, Malting Green Road, Abberton Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Dudley Road, Clacton-On-Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dudley Road, Clacton-On-Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 220m northeast of its junction with St Osyth Road for a distance of approximately 201m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th June 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2250512 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Coppins Road, Old Road, St Osyth Road, Dudley Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
