Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Footpath 7 Langenhoe Borough of Colchester Public Path Diversion Orders 2018
The above Order, made on 4th April,2018 will divert public Footpath 7 in the Parish of Langenhoe in the Borough of Colchester as shown on the Order map contained in the Order.
A part length of Footpath 7 Langenhoe commencing from grid reference 60196,21782 and running in a south easterly direction along the north bank of the brook for a distance of 40 metres to grid reference 60200,21781 then in a south westerly direction for a distance of 37 metres to grid reference 60197,21778 will be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above point and running across the field in a south south easterly direction for a distance of 40 metres to the same point of termination where it continues unaffected.
A further part length of Footpath 7 Langenhoe commencing at grid reference 60174,21765 and running in a south south westerly direction across the field for a distance of 230 metres to grid reference 60170,21743 then in a westerly direction along the field boundary field for a distance of 130 metres to grid reference 60157,21744 be diverted to a new route commencing from the same above point and running along the field boundary in a west south westerly direction for a distance of 143 metres to grid reference 60160,21762 and then in a south south westerly direction for a distance of 176 metres to the same above point to where it continues unaffected.
A copy of the Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Colchester Library and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2 Seax House, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 24th May, 2018 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Please include an email address with your comments. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985. (Station Road, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 400m north of its junction with Slough Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction (10m either side of railway crossing). The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th April 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KL165LTN1-56-05-290418 - Network Rail). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing repair works are undertaken by Network Rail. An alternative route is available via Station Road, Colchester Road, John De Bois Hill, Fox Street, Parsons Heath, Parsons Heath Roundabout, Bromley Road, Ardleigh Road, Frating Road, Slough Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 19th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Layer Road, Abberton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Layer Road, Abberton in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 166m west of its junction with Peldon Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2018 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD001WAT-06728-04 - Anglian Water). The scheduled
dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while reconfiguring valve on water main in chamber works is undertaken by Anglian
Water.
An alternative route is available via The Folley, Layer Road, Berechurch Hall Road, Hooper Avenue, Blackheath, Mersea Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 19th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Abberton Road, Layer-de-la-Haye) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Abberton Road, Layer-de-la-Haye in the Borough of Colchester, from approximately 128m west of its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 68m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th April 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000010492631 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Bounstead Hill, Bounstead Road, Berechurch Hall Road, Layer Road, High Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 19th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Victor Road, Colchester) (Temporary Introduction of One-Way) & (Victor Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Entry) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a one way in that length of Victor Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Artillery Street to its junction with Barrack Street for traffic to go in a northerly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a Prohibition of Entry from Barrack Road into Victor Road for the duration of the One Way restriction.

The One Way is scheduled to commence on 15th May 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(AD03154539241 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org.
The One way is required for the safety of the public and workforce while communication pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Artillery Street, Kimberley Road, Barrack Street.
The Order will come into effect on 3rd May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Cockaynes Lane, Alresford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cockaynes Lane, Alresford in the District of Tendring from its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 121m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2018 for 114 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231002065 - Taylor/Wimpey). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of 2 new bell mouths, street lighting, footpaths and new drainage connection works are undertaken by Taylor/Wimpey.
An alternative route is available via Station Road, St Osyth Road, Cockaynes Lane and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 19th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Harwich Road, Mistley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harwich Road, Mistley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Stourview Road to its junction with Heath Road, a distance of approximately 175m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th May 2018 for 1 night (works between 20:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (ZP012TRI/X373/001 - GTC). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to undertake an installation of a new gas main is undertaken by GTC.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Heath Road, Cansey Lane, Steam Mill Road, Clacton Road, New Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 20th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(London Road, Little Horkesley & London Road, Great Horkesley & School Lane, Great Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. London Road, Little Horkesley, London Road, Great Horkesley and School Road, Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 273m northeast of its junction with Park Farm Road to a point approximately 160m west of its junction with The Causeway, a distance of approximately 708m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd May 2018 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSE0IBRVNRTL1 -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT. (School Lane, Great Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Lane, Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 555m west of its junction with The Causeway for a distance of approximately 87m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th April 2018 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEIBRP2VTH04 - BT). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ellis Road, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Mill Road to its junction with Queens Head Road, a distance of approximately 518m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid
permit (AD03154394770 - Anglian Water). The
scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water main works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Queens Head Road, Straight Road, Mill Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 19th April 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mill Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Frating Road for a distance of approximately 15m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th May 2018 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005MU1WSEP00IBRJFTCB02 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT. (Long Road East, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Long Road East, Dedham in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 360m east of its junction with Jupes Hill for a distance of approximately 40m in an easterly direction (10m either side of railway bridge). The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (KL701LTN1-58-25-010518- Network Rail). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Clacton Road, Great Holland in the District of Tendring from a point approximately 375m east of its junction with Sladburys Lane for a further distance of approximately 110m in an easterly direction.
