(Church Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

(Church Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Street, Colchester
in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 35m west of its junction
with Head Street for a distance of approximately 10m in a westerly direction. The
closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd April 2018 for 3 days (works to take
place between 18:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03154477076
– Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate
signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required
for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken
by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Head Street, North Hill, Balkerne Gardens and
vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 12th April 2018 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Upland Road, West Mersea)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Upland Road, West
Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 108m east of its
junction with Upland Crescent for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly
direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd April 2018 for 5 days, or
where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000680374 – Cadent Gas). The scheduled
dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed
on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
An alternative route is available via Kingsland Road, Barfield Road, High Street
North and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 12th April 2018 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chapel Lane, Tendring)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Lane, Tendring
in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 130m southwest of its
junction with Parsonage Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a
southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th April
2018 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034787089 – UK Power
Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs
showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the
safety of the public and workforce while electrical connection works are
undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Clacton Road, Parsonage Lane, Chapel Lane
and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 12th April 2018 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Vicarage Gardens, Clacton-On-Sea)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Vicarage Gardens,
Clacton-On-Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Wash Lane
to its junction with Park Road, a distance of approximately 236m. The closure
is scheduled to commence on 23rd April 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on
a valid permit (EP201EH2242904 – Essex County Council). The scheduled
dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or
displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of
the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken
by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Park Road, Wash Lane, Vicarage Gardens
and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 12th April 2018 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hardys Green, Birch)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hardys Green, Birch
in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance
of approximately 274m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled
to commence on 24th April 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(AD030000052606268 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these
works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water
meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Fountain Lane, Maldon Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 12th April 2018 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Harwich Road, Great Bromley)
(Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Tendring
as specified in the schedule below.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from
23rd April 2018 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/.
The Closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst
roundabout construction works are undertaken by Highways England.
The Order came into effect on 12th April 2018 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than
seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section
14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ernest Road, Wivenhoe
in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Stanley Road to its junction
with Belle Vue Road, a distance approximately 169m. The closure is scheduled
to commence on 8th May 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(EP201EH2243436 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary
for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Belle Vue Road, Rectory Road, Stanley Road
and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th April 2018 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
