Schedule 1
Notice is hereby given that the Colchester Borough Council as the
lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting
as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends,
not less than twenty one days from the date of this notice, to vary the
above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the
changes will take place on 9th April 2018.
The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for
On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits – all other fees and
charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing
and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

(Footpath 10, Rayne)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the
above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 10,
Rayne in the District of Braintree, for a distance of approximately 10
metres either side of Wind Pump Bridge (ECC Bridge No. 2719).
The closure is scheduled to commence on 19 March 2018 for 3 weeks
or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is
required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to
replace the footbridge are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Footpath 91, Braintree & Bocking and
Footpath 60, Braintree & Bocking, Rayne Road footway, Footpath 67,
Braintree & Bocking and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19 March 2018 and may continue
in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.

(20mph Zone) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the
above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Parts III and IV of
Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following
length of Duncombe Close, Haygreen Road and Payne Close, Witham
in the District of Braintree:

From its junctions with Haygreen Road, for its entire
length.

i. From its junction with the extended western
kerbline of Duncombe Close, westwards for a
distance of 153 metres.
ii. From a point in line with the property boundaries
of no. 115/116 Haygreen Road in a southwesterly
direction for approximately 40 metres
(remaining length).
iii. From a point in line with the property boundaries
of no. 117/118 Haygreen Road in a northeasterly
direction for approximately 54 metres
(remaining length).
Payne Close,
Witham
From its junction with Haygreen Road, for its entire
length.
The Essex County Council (Various roads Maltings Lane Development,
Witham) (20MPH Zone) Order 2013 is hereby revoked. The restrictions
contained within the aforementioned order shall continue in force by
virtue of this new order.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 19 March
2018.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined
during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the
validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds
that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the
Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in
relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making
of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and
Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.77) Order

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to
make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2),
32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ restrictions on the
following lengths of Manor Street and Godlings Way in the District
of Braintree:

(Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area)
(Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile numbers TL755 225,
TL760 227 revision 2 to revision 3, TL750 225, TL755 230 revision 4
to revision 5, TL760 230 revision 7 to revision 8.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not
less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spring Lane,
Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with
Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 933m in a northerly
direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th April 2018
for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(BC005MU1WSEP00IBRHUCEZ03 – BT). The scheduled dates may
vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed
on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the
public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Station Road, Langford Road,
Witham Road, Maldon Road, Hatfield Road, Spring Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 22nd March 2018 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.
(Great Yeldham Road, Toppesfield)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the
above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Great Yeldham
Road, Toppesfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with
Toppesfield Road to its junction with The Causeway, a distance
of approximately 1882m. The closure is scheduled to commence
on 19th March 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(EP201EH2240854 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates
may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or
displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the
safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works
are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via The Causeway, The Street, Church
Lane, Stambourne Road, Ridgewell Road, Church Road, Bridge
Street, High Street, Toppesfield Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 8th March 2018 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.
