(Crown Lane North, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crown Lane North, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Ipswich Road to its junction with Lodge Lane, a distance of approximately 1224m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th March 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2234800 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Old Ipswich Road, Wick Lane, Lodge Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Andrews Avenue Service Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Andrews Avenue Service Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 136m northwest of the junction with The Chase for a distance of approximately 23m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th March 2018 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000664308 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas service pipe works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
An alternative route is available via St Andrews Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Well Street, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Well Street, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Upper Park Road, a distance of approximately 98m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2241197 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Dean Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 1st February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Tendring District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.1) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 1st February 2018, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rosemary Road East, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Beach Road to its junction with Orwell Road, a distance of approximately 66m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th February 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2232585 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway improvements works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Rosemary Road East, Orwell Road, Pallister Road, Beach Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
