(Bridleway 24, Heybridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bridleway 24, Heybridge in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 200 metres North West of its junction with Footpath 57, North West for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February 2018 for 2 weeks or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are carried out on the Maldon Bypass Gates on behalf of the Environment Agency.

The alternative route will be via Bridleway 24, Heybridge, Footpath 53, Maldon, Footpath 57, Heybridge, Footpath 11, Maldon, Footpath 12, Heybridge, Bridleway 24, Heybridge and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19th February 2018 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mayland Green, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mayland Green, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 70m northwest of its junction with Steeple Road for a distance of approximately 17m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th March 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034783035 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electric connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Steeple Road, Nipsells Chase and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 15th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(London Road, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Curling Tye Lane for a distance of approximately 436m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2242352 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while guardrail replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Old London Road, Woodham Mortimer Road, Tom Tit Lane, Maldon Road, Limebrook Road, Wycke Hill, Spital Road, Spital Road Roundabout, High Street, London Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 1st February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Maldon District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.1) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 15th February 2018 exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
