Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine Essex County Council Definitive Map Modification Order No. 627; Footpath 57 Langham, Colchester District Order 2016 And will attend at: Langham Community Centre, School Road, Colchester C04 5PD. .on Tuesday 17 April 2018 at l0am. To hold a public local inquiry into the Order The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modifications, will be to modify the Definitive Map for the area by:-

Adding a length of Footpath 57 Langham from Footpath 29 at Point A on the order plan in a generally west north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 190 metres to meet Footpath 26 at Point B. The width of the way is two metres. (Dyers Road, Stanway) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 201*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) and 3(2)and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on the following length of Dyers Road, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from point approximately 299 metres north east of its junction with Warren Lane, in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 70 metres. (Crouch Street West, Colchester & Rawstorn Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Clearway) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close and introduce a 'No Stopping' restriction on those lengths of Crouch Street West, Colchester from its junction with Rawstorn Road to its junction with Balkerne Hill, a distance of approximately 150m and Rawstorn Road, Colchester from its junction with Southway Eastbound to its junction with Manor Road, a distance of approximately 90m in the Borough of Colchester. The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 18th January 2018 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153035760 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) Order 2014 will be temporarily amended to include the 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

An alternative route is available via Balkerne Hill Northbound, St Marys Fields, Rawstorn Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 18th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Dead Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dead Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Dedham Road to its junction with Colchester Road, a distance of approximately 1660m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th January 2018 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2237330 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks. org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pre surface dressing works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, The Street, Dedham Road, Dedham Road Layby, Fen Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 18th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Cockaynes Lane, Alresford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cockaynes Lane, Alresford in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 66m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th January 2018 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZP010N17884-1/EPLR- Express Pipe). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while install gas supply works are undertaken by Express Pipe.

An alternative route is available via Cockaynes Lane, St Osyth Road, Station Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 18th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pork Lane, Great Holland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pork Lane, Great Holland in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 130m northwest of its junction with Orchard Drive for a distance of approximately 30m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd January 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000662817 - Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

An alternative route is available via Kirby Road, Holland Road, Thorpe Road, Pork Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 28th December 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Maidenburgh Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maidenburgh Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Williams Walk for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th February 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03154165538 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while communication pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Maidenburgh Street, Northgate Street, Middle Mill Road, St Peters Street, North Hill, Middleborough, Middleborough Roundabout, Balkerne Hill Southbound, Maldon Road Roundabout, Southway Eastbound, Headgate, Head Street, High Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Crown Interchange Roundabout, Colchester & Crown Interchange Roundabout Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Crown Interchange Roundabout, Ardleigh and Crown Interchange Roundabout, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from the junction with the Westbound slip road to the junction with eastbound slip road and the junction with the eastbound slip road to its junction with the westbound slip road. The closures are scheduled to commence on 12th February 2018 for 19 nights (each side to be closed at separate times), or where stated on a valid permit (FN50636993 - Jacobs). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Jacobs. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spring Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th January 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03153951216 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains fitting works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Station Road, Maldon Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 4th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
