(Spring Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spring Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th January 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03153951216 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains fitting works are undertaken by Anglian Water An alternative route is available via Station Road, Maldon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 4th January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.16) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in Schedule 1.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 14th December 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. (Captains Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Captains Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 55m east of its junction with Churchfields for a distance of approximately 35m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000054025915 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water. (Holland Road, Little Clacton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Holland Road, Little Clacton in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 255m north of its junction with Sladburys Lane for a distance of approximately 72m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th January 2018 for 74 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP01827000143 - Essex County Council). The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installing safety barrier works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Clacton Road, Elmstead) (Temporary 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40 mph speed limit on that length of Clacton Road, Elmstead in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 100m east of its junction with Church Road to a point approximately 550m southeast of its junction with Bromley Road, a distance of approximately 1135m. The speed limit reduction is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2018 for 33 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231001666 - Essex County Council). The speed limit reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new entrance and highway works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Jameson Road, Clacton-On-Sea in the District of Tendring from a point approximately 70m west of its junction with Cooper lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th January 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM54180374 - Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Way, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Station Way for a distance of approximately 24m (The left turn access road to roundabout only). The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2018 for 3 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005KN1W000COLCH551-NS1 - BT).
