(Blue Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blue Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester from a point approximately 35m north of its junction with Perry Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th November 2017 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034776966 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying underground cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Vine Road, Maldon Road, Perry Road, Blue Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 16th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chitts Hill, West Bergholt & Chitts Hill, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Chitts Hill, West Bergholt and Chitts Hill, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Cooks Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction (10m either side of the railway crossing). The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th December 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KL165LTN1-49-41-161217 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track maintenance works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Chitts Hill, Halstead Road, A1124 Halstead Road Southbound, Halstead Road Roundabout, A12 Eastbound Slip From Stanway, A12 Stanway Bypass Northbound, A12 Westbound Slip To Stanway, Essex Yeomanry Way Southbound, A1124 Halstead Road Northbound, Spring Lane, Argents Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Tendring District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.10) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in Schedule 1.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 9th November 2017, exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The Order will come into effect on 9th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Southminster Road, Althorne and Mayland Hill, Mayland in the District of Maldon, Southminster Road from its junction with Dairy Farm Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction and Mayland Hill from its junction with Southminster Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction. The closures are scheduled to commence on 2nd December 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034775859 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Scotts Hill, Steeple Road, Foxhall Road, Highlands Hill, Green Lane, Burnham Road - B1018, Main Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 10th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Great Bentley) (Temporary Suspension of One Way & Clearway) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on Station Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring as detailed in 'The County Council of Essex (Station Road, Great Bentley) (One Way Traffic) Order 1970 from its junction with The Green to its junction with Birch Avenue a distance of approximately 77m.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fordham Road, Wormingford in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Packards Lane for a distance of approximately 293m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W00000IBQH6EGB2 -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling and jointing works are undertaken by BT.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 'No Stopping' restriction on Harsnett Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Kimberley Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction.
