Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Parts III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following lengths of Eltham Close, Hampton Court Close, Kensington Road, Lambeth Road, Richmond Road in the Borough of Colchester:

Road Description



Eltham Close, Colchester From its junction with Richmond Road for its entire length. Hampton Court Close, From its junction with Kensington Road for its entire length. Colchester

Kensington Road, From the roundabout junction with Goojerat Road for its entire



Colchester length.



Lambeth Road, Colchester From its junction with Kensington Road for its entire length. Richmond Road, From its junction with Circular Road West for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that under Sections 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Essex County Council proposes to install a Zebra Crossing on the following length of B1408 London Road, Copford in the Borough of Colchester as follows:

B1408 London Road, The centre line of the crossing will be located approximately



Copford 45 metres west of the centre line of Queensbury Avenue at the



same location as the pedestrian islands.

(Straight Road, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Straight Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with South Heath Road to its junction with Wick Road, a distance of approximately 583m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th November 2017 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W000000IBB8AJJW - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to replace damaged wooden telegraph pole are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Wick Road, Aingers Green Road, St Marys Road, Colles Brook Road, Dial Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 26th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Coast Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coast Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 51m northwest of its junction with Victory Road or a distance of approximately 25m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th November 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000637909 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via High Street, High Street North and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ravens Green, Little Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ravens Green, Little Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Rowherns Lane for a distance of approximately 669m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th November 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W0000IBKHU7PS02 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement telegraph pole works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Ravens Green, Ravens Green Lane, Harwich Road, A120 From J A133 To End Of Dualling West Of Little Bentley E, Wix Bypass, A120 From End Of Dualling West Of Little Bentley To J B1035, Little Bromley Road, Manningtree Road, Church Road, Colchester Road, Rowherns Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 26th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
