Modification No. 633 Restricted Byway 244 Colchester, Colchester Borough Order 2017
The above Order made on 2 October 2017 if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map for the area by:-
1. Adding a length of restricted byway from Norman way north at point A on the order plan in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 620 metres to join footpath 206 at point E. The width of the way is 5 metres. A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Colchester Borough Council Offices, Rowan House, 33 Sheepen Road Colchester, Essex CO3 3WG and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, where copies will be available on request at a charge.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director for Essex Legal Services, Essex County Council, Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1QH, to arrive not later than 7th December 2017 and it is requested that the grounds on which it is made are stated.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Essex County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections, which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it.

(High Street, Colchester) (Temporary Waiting Restriction) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 intends to make the following order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effects of the order: To introduce waiting and parking restrictions in those lengths of road described below. The restrictions are required to avoid danger to the public and other traffic on the road and to prevent the likelihood of any such danger occurring.
1. To Revoke Goods Vehicle Loading Bays 8am - 6pm Monday to Saturday
Road Description
High Street, i. the south side from a point 17 metres east of its
Colchester junction with Head Street east for a distance of
20 metres
ii. the south side from a point 7.6 metres east of the eastern side of Bank Passage east for a distance of 27 metres
iii. the south side from a point 43 metres east of Bank Passage east for a distance of 26 metres
iv. the south side from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Pelhams Lane west for a distance of 18 metres

The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008 shall be temporarily amended in so far as it relates to the waiting and stopping restrictions detailed in this Notice. (Nayland Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Nayland Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with A134 Northern Approach for a distance of 44m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th November 2017 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153034939 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while road marking and signage changes works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Nayland Road Roundabout, Northern Approach Road, Mill Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 26th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Andrews Avenue, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Andrews Avenue, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 190m southeast of the junction with Weggs Willow for a distance of approximately 40m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st November 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000010469412 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water supply works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via St Andrews Avenue and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Irvine Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Irvine Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Capel Road to its junction with Shrub End Road, a distance of approximately 234m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2235197 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Shrub End Road, Maldon Road, Capel Road, Irvine Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Fairfax Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Lucas Road, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Fairfax Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Mersea Road to its junction with Lucas Road, a distance of approximately 133m.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on Lucas Road as detailed in "The Borough of Colchester (Fairfax Road and Lucas Road) (One-Way) Order 1973" for the duration of the above closure.
The closure and suspension are scheduled to commence on 7th November 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2235287 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Fairfax Road, Mersea Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Malting Farm Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Malting Farm Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Harts Lane to its junction with Dedham Road, a distance of approximately 883m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th November 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2235692 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Harts Lane, Dead Lane, Dedham Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
