NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT1980 ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2017 FOOTPATHS 11, 15, 22, 23, 24, 46 & 51

Essex County Council NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT1980 ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2017 FOOTPATHS 11, 15, 22, 23, 24, 46 & 51
LAWFORD
The above order, made on 15 September 2017, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part lengths of the following footpaths:

Footpath 23 Lawford commencing from a point 64 metres north of agricultural buildings in a large crop field running in a generally south then south, south west, then south west and finally generally southerly direction for a total of 442 metres to meet Byway 57 Lawford/Barn Lane, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing at the aforementioned start point running west of the aforementioned agricultural buildings and then along the field edge between two crop fields in a generally southerly direction for a total of 399 metres to meet Byway 57 Lawford/Barn Lane 83 metres east of the original termination point.
Footpath 22 Lawford commencing from a point 66 metres south of Grange Farm running in a generally northerly direction along a farm track for 66 metres to meet the boundary of Grange Farm where it continues in a generally easterly direction as a cross-field path crossing a field boundary before continuing across the field to meet footpath 19, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running in a generally easterly direction for a total of 477 metres to meet Footpath 19, 69 metres south of the aforementioned termination point.
Footpath 46 Lawford commencing from a point 219 metres west of Bromley Road running in a south easterly direction as a cross-field path for 297 metres to meet Little Bromley Road, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing at the aforementioned start point running along the southern side of the field boundary as a headland path in a generally easterly direction for a total of 215 metres to meet Little Bromley Road at a point 145 metres north of the aforementioned termination point.
Footpath 15 Lawford commencing at a point south east of the allotment garden boundary running in a generally south easterly direction as a cross-field path and across a field boundary to a point where it meets Grange Road, and a further section of Footpath 15 and Footpath 11 Lawford commencing from a point on the farm track on the southern side of the allotment gardens boundary 109 metres east of Hungerdown Lane running in a south easterly direction as a cross-field path for 37 metres to where it continues as Footpath 11 in a generally north easterly direction across a field and field boundary for 22 metres to the corner of the field where Footpath 11 continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from the allotment gardens and running along a farm track on the southern side of that boundary for 50 metres to the corner of the field where it continues in a south easterly direction along the farm track to where it meets Footpath 24. Footpath 24 Lawford commencing from a point close to the north east corner of a field where it continues in a generally east then south easterly direction as a cross-field path to a point 43 metres from Grange Road, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running in first a generally south then south easterly on the southern side of a field boundary to meet Grange Road at a point 40 metres south of the boundary of Grange Farm. Footpath 51 Lawford (northern section) commencing by the driveway to the property Glanfields alongside Hungerdown Lane running in a generally south easterly direction through the grounds of the aforementioned property for 154 metres to meet the field edge close to the south east boundary of the property, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from the field edge at the south western corner of the property boundary, 23 meters south of the aforementioned start point running in a south easterly then north easterly direction around the southern perimeter of the property boundary for a total of 159 metres to a point close to the south east corner of Glanfields property boundary.
Footpath 51 Lawford (southern section) commencing at the field boundary at a point 100 metres south of Glanfields property boundary running as a cross-field path in a south easterly direction for 163 metres to meet Footpath 24, to an alternative route 2 metres in width commencing from a point in the north west corner of a large field running along the southern side of the field boundary in a north easterly direction for 379 metres to meet the diversion route of Footpath 15. A copy of the Orders and the Order maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices, Town Hall, Station Road, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, CO15 1SE and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.
Any representations about or objections to the orders may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH no later than 3 November 2017. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed orders. If the Orders are sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Orders. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information)
Act 1985.
