(A133 Clacton Road, Elmstead) (Temporary 30MPH & 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on A133 Clacton Road, Elmstead in the District of Tendring, from its junction with the Beth Chatto Gardens entrance, north west for a distance of approximately 225 metres to the existing 30MPH speed limit. (The road is currently national speed limit).
There will be a 40MPH speed limit buffer on A133 Clacton Road, Elmstead in the District of Tendring from its junction with the Beth Chatto Gardens entrance, south east for a distance of approximately 150 metres. This will safely reduce the speed of the vehicles from national speed limit to the proposed temporary 30mph speed limit.
The temporary speed restrictions are scheduled to commence 9 October 2017 to 18 November 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while works associated with a section 50 licence to install a foul sewer connection are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 9 October 2017 and may continue in force
for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mersea Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: Totemporarily close that length of Mersea Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Lucas Road to its junction with Fairfax Road, a distance of approximately 54m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th October 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03152694269/01 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water maintenance and repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water. Alternative routes are:-
Northbound via Mersea Road, Napier Road, Circular Road North, Circular Road West, Butt Road, Southway Eastbound, St Botolphs Circus. Southbound via St Botolphs Circus, Southway Westbound, Maldon Roundabout, Maldon Road, Drury Road, Circular Road West, Circular Road North, Napier road, Mersea Road.
The Order will come into effect on 5th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chapel Lane, West Bergholt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Lane, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester from a point approximately 20m west of its junction with Valley View, for a distance of approximately 40m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th October 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034775272 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Bourne Road, Queens Road, Chapel Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 5th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Priory Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Priory Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Ernulph Walk for a distance of approximately 62m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZY024AWH7464 - E S Pipelines Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas service works are undertaken by E S Pipelines Ltd. An alternative route is available via St Botolphs Street, St Botolphs Circus, Magdalen Street, Brook Street, East Hill, High Street, Queen Street. The Order will come into effect on 5th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in Schedule 1.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 5th October 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. of Right Turn & 30 MPH) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily prohibit vehicles from making a right hand turn on A414 Edinburgh Way, Harlow in the District of Harlow into the following roads:-East Road, North Place, unnamed access road at Gates Ford dealership, unnamed access road leading to Harlow Group Offices and unnamed Access Road between Clement Clare International and Tesco Superstores.

2. To temporarily prohibit vehicles from making a right hand turn from the following roads into A414 Edinburgh Way:-

East Road, North Place, unnamed access road at Gates Ford dealership, unnamed access road leading to Harlow Group Offices and unnamed Access Road between Clement Clare International and Tesco Superstores.
3. To temporarily introduce a 30MPH speed limit on A414 Edinburgh Way, Harlow both Carriageways from its junction with A1148 to its junction with West Road including the roundabout at its junction with River Way/ Central Road, a total distance of approximately 833m.

The Existing 40MPH on the A414 Edinburgh Way, Harlow as detailed in "The Essex County Council (A414 & London road, North Weald Bassett, Districts of Epping Forest & Harlow) (40MPH and 50MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017 will be temporarily suspended insofar as it relates to the A414 Edinburgh Way, Harlow only. All other restrictions contained within the aforementioned order shall remain in force. On completion of the works the road will revert to the existing speed limit.
An alternative route will be via left turn into A414 Edinburgh Way and required U turn movements at either A1148 Cambridge Road/River Way/ Central Road roundabouts.
The Order will come into effect on 21st October 2017 and may continue in force for 36 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier.
(Irvine Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: Totemporarily close that length of Irvine Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Capel Road to its junction with Shrub End Road, a distance of approximately 234m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2235197 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Shrub End Road, Maldon Road, Capel Road, Irvine Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hardys Green, Birch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: Totemporarily close that length of Hardys Green, Birch
in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Blind Lane for a distance
of approximately 100 m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to
commence on 13th October 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid
permit (BC005CB1W0000000EA3LFR82 - BT). The scheduled dates may
vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while overhead repair works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Hardys Green, Birch Road, Boarded Barn
Road, Rectory Road, Whitehouse Farm Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 5th October 2017 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is
the earlier.
