(A133 Clacton Road, Elmstead) (Temporary 30MPH & 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on A133 Clacton Road, Elmstead in the District of Tendring, from its junction with the Beth Chatto Gardens entrance, north west for a distance of approximately 225 metres to the existing 30MPH speed limit. (The road is currently national speed limit).

There will be a 40MPH speed limit buffer on A133 Clacton Road, Elmstead in the District of Tendring from its junction with the Beth Chatto Gardens entrance, south east for a distance of approximately 150 metres. This will safely reduce the speed of the vehicles from national speed limit to the proposed temporary 30mph speed limit. The temporary speed restrictions are scheduled to commence 9 October 2017 to 18 November 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while works associated with a section 50 licence to install a foul sewer connection are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 9 October 2017 and may

continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been

completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Frating Abbey Farm Road, Thorrington) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frating Abbey Farm Road, Thorrington in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 290m southeast from its junction with Thorrington Road, for a distance of approximately 31m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd October 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KL165COC-59-74-231017 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Frating Abbey Farm Road, Great Bentley Road, Station Road, Clacton Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(East Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 35m east of its junction with Moorside for a distance approximately of 41m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd October 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (KL165COC-53-17-221017 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Harwich Road, Harwich Road Roundabout, St Andrews Avenue, Ipswich Road, East Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lodge Road, Messing-cum-Inworth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lodge Road, Messing-cum-Inworth in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 330m north of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 150m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th October 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM53873639 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing manhole cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Well Lane, Porters Green Road, Hardys Green, Maldon Road, Harborough Hall Lane, Lodge Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Recreation Way, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Recreation Way, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from a point 20m northeast of its junction with Recreation Way for a distance of approximately 40m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034775255 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Bayard Avenue, Stanley Avenue George Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 12th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(St Johns Road, Clacton) (Temporary Suspension of Left Turn into Woodrows Lane) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the left hand turn into Woodrows Lane, Clacton, in the District of Tendring from St Johns Road, Clacton. The suspension is scheduled to commence on 23rd October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CB1W00000FPM918EAV3 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route for access into Woodrows Lane only is available via St Johns Road, Cottage Grove, Bockings Grove, Woodrows Lane.

The Order will come into effect on 13th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Victoria Esplanade, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Victoria Esplanade, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Fairhaven Avenue to its junction with Seaview Avenue, a distance of approximately 83m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th October 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2232134 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Fox Street, Ardleigh & Fox Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Fox Street, Ardleigh and Fox Street, Colchester in the District of Tendring, from the junction with Crown Lane South for a distance of approximately 620m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st October 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit

(AD037SM53766366 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates

may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacing manhole cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Bromley Road, Colchester Road, Ardleigh Road, Frating Road, Slough Lane, Station Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 13th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Crouch Street West, Colchester) (Temporary Clearway) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce, a 'No Stopping' restriction of both sides of the carriageway of Crouch Street West, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Rawstorn Road in a westerly direction to its end, a distance of approximately 65m. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2017 for 36 days or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153032776 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while paving works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) Order 2014 will be temporarily amended to include the 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The Order will come into effect on 28th September and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Fairstead Lodge Road, Fairstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fairstead Lodge Road, Fairstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Ranks Green to its junction with Fuller Street, a distance of approximately 2244m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2226956 - Essex County Council). (Greyhound Hill, Langham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Greyhound Hill, Langham in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 437m south of its junction with Dedham Road for a distance of approximately 322m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2233990 - Essex County Council). (Colchester Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with High Street North to its junction with Mill Road, a distance of approximately 41m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th October 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2234970 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Mill Road, Queens Corner, Upland Road, High Street North and vice versa.
