Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads (The Willows Estate), in the Borough of Colchester (the roads are currently 30MPH by virtue of street lighting):

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harwich Road, Little Clacton in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 320m north of its junction with Tan Lane, for a further 90m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034776916 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Weeley Road, Clacton Road, Weeley Bypass, Weeley Bypass Roundabout, Colchester Road, Thorpe Road, High Street, Abbey Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 5th October 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Priory Street,Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Priory Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Ernulph Walk for a distance of approximately 62m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZY024AWH7464 - E S Pipelines Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas service. works are undertaken by E S Pipelines Ltd. An alternative route is available via St Botolphs Street, St Botolphs Circus, Magdalen Street, Brook Street, East Hill, High Street, Queen Street. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in Schedule 1.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" and "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 5th October 2017 exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Priory Road, Tiptree, in the Borough of Colchester, a point approximately 47m from its junction with West End Road, for a further 101m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd October 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000053813960 -Anglian Water). (Chapel Road, Beaumont) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Road, Beaumont in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Lucas Lane for a distance of approximately 600 m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W000000IBQPRMCT -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead structure works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Chapel Road, Harwich Road, Landermere Road, High Street, Colchester Road, Tendring Road, Thorpe Road, Swan Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Yorick Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Yorick Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with The Chase to its junction with Beach Road, a distance of approximately 82 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2231959 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Yorick Road, High Street, Barfield Road, Kingsland Road and vice versa.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.
