Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Fingringhoe & Langenhoe Borough of Colchester Public Path Diversion Orders 2017

The above Orders, made on 23rd August, 2017, will divert public Footpaths 7 in the Parish of Langenhoe Bridleway 4 and Footpath 13 in the Parish of Fingringhoe in the Borough of Colchester as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders.

A part length of Bridleway 4 Fingringhoe commencing from grid reference 60420,22032 and running in a south easterly direction across a lake and the access road then in an east north easterly direction across a lake and an access track for a distance of 207 metres to grid reference 60434,22023 & continuing in a generally southerly direction across the edge of the lake for a final distance of 548 metres to grid reference 60434,21969 will be diverted to a new alternative route commencing at the same above point and running in a generally easterly direction along the existing access road for a distance of 165 metres to grid reference 60436,22031 & continuing in a generally southerly direction coincident with the access track for a distance of 640 metres to grid reference 60438,21971 then continuing in a south westerly direction along the track for a total distance of 41 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

A part length of Footpath 13 Fingringhoe commencing from grid reference 60271,21890 running in a south south easterly direction from south of South House Farm to the west of the pond then in an easterly direction to the south of the pond for a distance of 54 metres to grid reference 60275,21888 then continuing in a generally northerly direction to the east of the pond for a distance of 62 metres to grid reference 60275,21894 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a generally north easterly direction along the existing track north of the pond for a distance of 70 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

A further section of Footpath 13 commencing grid reference 60281,21899 running in a north easterly direction along the existing track for a distance of 32 metres to grid reference 60284,21901 then in a generally south easterly direction to the south west of the property known as Geedon Barn for a distance of 110 metres to a point south of Geedon barn at grid reference 60291,21893 then continuing in a northerly direction then an easterly direction around the property perimeter for a distance of 88 metres to grid reference 60297,21897 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a generally south easterly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 125 metres to grid reference 60290,21892 then continuing in north easterly direction across the field continuing in a northerly direction for a total distance of 90 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

A part length of Footpath 7 Langenhoe commencing from grid reference 60194,21808 north of the wood known as Risings Grove running in a generally northerly direction to the west of the Ministry of Defence Buildings known as Fingringhoe Camp for a distance of 788 metres to grid reference 60196,21883 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in a westerly direction to the corner of the field for a distance of 160 metres to grid reference 60179,21806 then in a generally north north westerly direction along the field boundary then in an easterly direction along the northern perimeter of the field for a distance of 770 metres to grid reference 60183,21860 continuing in a northerly direction along the field boundary to the corner of the field then an easterly direction along the northern boundary of the field for a total distance of 375 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

A copy of the Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Colchester Library and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2 Seax House, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 5th October, 2017 and should state the grounds on which it is made.

Please include an email address with your comments.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information)

Act 1985.

(Station Road, Thorpe-le-Soken) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 1028m south of its junction with Abbey Street, for a distance of approximately 25m in a southerly direction (10m either side of bridge). The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th September 2017 for 6 hours, or where stated on a valid permit (KL134COC-65-15-280917-Network Rail). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while detailed bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail.

An alternative route is available via Weeley Road, Clacton Road, Weeley Bypass, Weeley Bypass Roundabout, Colchester Road, Thorpe Road, High Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 7th September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Priory Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Priory Road, Tiptree, in the Borough of Colchester, a point approximately 47m from its junction with West End Road, for a further 101m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd October 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000053813960 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter exchange works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Braxted Park Road, Grange Road, Priory Road, West End Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Chapel Road, Beaumont) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Road, Beaumont in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Lucas Lane for a distance of approximately 600 m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC11W000000IBQPRMCT - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead structure works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Chapel Road, Harwich Road, Landermere Road, High Street, Colchester Road, Tendring Road, Thorpe Road, Swan Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Lane, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Lane, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 65m east of its junction with City Road, for a further 65m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD030000052606283 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water meter change works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Firs Chase, Coast Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 7th September and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Yorick Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Orderunder Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Yorick Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with The Chase to its junction with Beach Road, a distance of approximately 82 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd October 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2231959 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Yorick Road, High Street, Barfield Road, Kingsland Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rectory Road, Frating) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Orderunder Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Road, Frating in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 495m northwest of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 131 m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd October 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034774657 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree trimming works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Rectory Road, Church Road, Frating Hill, Main Road, Great Bentley Road, School Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Thorrington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Orderunder Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Thorrington in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Great Bentley Road, a distance of approximately 20m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th December 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (KL165COC-59-45-081217 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track repair works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Great Bentley Road, Lufkins Lane, Main Road, Frating Hill, Clacton Road, Colchester Road, Clacton Road Westbound, Brightlingsea Road, Broad Lanes, St Osyth Road, Tenpenny Hill, Station Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Warren Lane, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Orderunder Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Warren Lane, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Blackberry Road, for a distance of approximately 490m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th September 2017 for 82 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231001426 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new roundabout construction and alterations works are undertaken by MDS Civil Engineering. An alternative route is available via Dyers Road, Blackberry Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 21st September 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 07/09/2017
