Public Path Diversion Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Borough of Colchester Notice of the Confirmation of an Order Footpath 31 Stanway

The above Order, confirmed on 21st March, 2017 by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Fisheries and Rural Affairs without conditions, will divert public Footpath 31 in the parish of Stanway in the Borough of Colchester.

The effect of the Order will be to divert a part length of Footpath 31, commencing from grid reference 59635,22128 on the north side of the stile and running in a northerly direction to the east of the dovecote and on the west side of the property known as Olivers for a total distance of 180 metres to grid reference 59653,22132 where it connects with Footpath 22 Stanway, to an alternative route commencing from the aforementioned above point and running in a westerly direction along an existing permissive path for a total distance of approximately 111 metres to grid reference 59665,22146, where it connects to Footpath 22 Stanway, but 172 metres further to the south-west than the current path.

A copy of the above Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Colchester Borough Council Offices and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of an Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

If any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court.

Notice of Making of an Order Highways Act 1990 - Section 119 Essex County Council District of Tendring Public Path Diversion Orders 2017 Footpaths 11,15 and 19 Weeley and Footpath 1 Great Bromley

The above Orders made on 5th May, 2017 will divert public Footpaths in the Parishes of Weeley and Great Bromley in the District of Tendring, as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders.

A part length of Footpath 11 Weeley, commencing from grid reference 61415,22239 where it connects to the B1033 on the west side of the roundabout and running in a south south westerly direction across the field for a total distance of 250 metres to grid reference 61408,22215 where it meets the hedge-line will be diverted to a new route commencing from grid reference 61426,22234 where it connects to the B1441 on the east side of the roundabout and 120 metres further east than the current path and running in a south westerly direction along the field edge on the west side of the drainage channel for a distance of 260 metres to the aforementioned above point where it continues unaffected.

A part length of Footpath 15 Weeley, starting from grid reference 61448,22254 where it connects to the A133 and running in a south south westerly direction along the access road to Green Lane Farm and then in a south easterly direction through the farm buildings and across the field for a total distance of 650 metres to grid reference 61462,22197 where it joins an existing track will be diverted to a new route commencing from grid reference 61462,22243 where it connects to the roundabout on the A133 and runs in a generally southerly direction along the existing track for a distance of 470 metres to the aforementioned point above where it continues unaffected.

A part length of Footpath 19 Weeley, commencing from grid reference 61317,22241 and running in a north north easterly direction along the existing track to the west of the lakes for a total distance of 270 metres to grid reference 61322,22267 where it connects to the highway known as the A133 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same above point and running in an easterly direction along an existing track for a distance of 283 metres to grid reference 61345,22238 where it connects to Footpath 15 Weeley, then continuing in a northerly and then an easterly direction along existing tracks for a distance of 190 metres to grid reference 61361,22242 where it meets the highway at the roundabout on the A133.

A part length of Footpath 1 Great Bromley, commencing from grid reference 60731,22653 and running in a south westerly direction across the field for a distance of 455 metres to grid reference 60697,22624 to the north east of the pond adjacent to the A120 will be diverted to a new route commencing at the same point and running in a west south westerly direction along the field boundary for a distance of 380 metres to grid reference 60697,22636 then in a southerly direction along the field boundary for a further distance of approximately 120 metres to the same above point where it continues unaffected.

A copy of the Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Tendring District Council Offices and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to Laurence Page and addressed to the Definitive Map Team, Essex County Council, A2, Seax House County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1QH, no later than 22nd June, 2017 and should state the grounds on which it is made. Please include an email address with your comments.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information)

Act 1985.

(Vinesse Road, Little Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Vinesse Road, Little Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Park Farm Road to its junction with Workhouse Road for a distance of approximately 716m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st July 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (BC005CN17W001AUGEA3GGN28 - BT) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replace damaged cable works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Workhouse Road, Crabtree Lane, Bures Road, Vinesse Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 25th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(East Lane, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation

Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Lane, Dedham in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Castle Hill to its junction with Long Road East for a distance of approximately 34m in a Southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000595927 -Cadent) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Castle Hill, The Heath, Long Road East and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 29th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Wakes Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Wakes Colne in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Colchester Road, for a distance of approximately 351m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th August 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit

(BC005MU1WBAUSEIBQDWKWV01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while install cable works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Bures Road, Chappel Road, Hall Road, Colchester Road, Peartree Hill, Lower Road, Sandy Hill, Fordham Road, Wormingford Road, Plummers Road, Moat Road, Church Road, Mill Road, Fiddlers Hill, Porters Cottages, Wood Lane, Halstead Road, Fordstreet Hill, Ford Street, Ponders Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Duke Street, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Duke Street, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Wellington Street to its junction with Colne Road, a distance of approximately 244 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th June 2017 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2228616 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Colne Road, Nelson Street, Wellington Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Culver Street East, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of Loading Bay) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the loading bay restriction on Culver Street East, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with St Nicholas Passage to the junction with Long Wyre Street, as detailed in "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008".

The suspension is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit

(BC005MU1WNGA00IBPW5CEE05 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while laying of new duct cables works are undertaken by BT.

The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.7) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in Schedule 1.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 and The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 08/06/2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of Lufkins Lane, Frating, Lufkins Lane, Great Bentley and Lufkins Lane, Thorrington in the District of Tendring, from the junction with School Lane to the junction with Thorrington Road, Great Bentley, a distance of approximately 813m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd July 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit

(BC005CB1W000CVP829EAPT1A1b & 1C - BT). The scheduled dates

may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling for new customer connection works are undertaken by BT.

An alternative route is available via Great Bentley Road, School Lane, Station Road, Frating Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 8th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
