(New Street, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Clearway) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce 'No Stopping at Any Time' (Clearway) restrictions on New Street, in the Parish of Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring on the both sides of the carriageway, from its junction with High Street, south to its junction with Colne Road. Tile numbers TM080 162, TM085 162, TM085 165, TM085 167 of The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 are hereby temporarily amended to include the temporary Clearway and temporarily suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The temporary restrictions are scheduled to commence within an 18 month period from the 18 May 2017 exact dates displayed on www.roadworks.org and are required for the safety of the public and workforce while machine surfacing and other associated maintenance works are undertaken.

(Footpath 37, Dedham Footcrossing, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act

1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 37, Dedham Footcrossing, Dedham, in the Borough of Colchester, from a point 20 metres either side of the crossing.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th May 2017 to 18th May 2017, or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track renewal works are undertaken. No alternative route available.

The Order will come into effect on 8th May 2017 and may continue

in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever

is the earlier.

Public Path Diversion Orders 2017 Highways Act 1980 - Sections 118 and 119 Borough of Colchester Notice of the Confirmation of Orders Footpaths 8 And 46 Great Horkesley

Three Public Path Orders have been confirmed on 29th March 2017 in the parish of Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester A part length of Footpath 8 Great Horkesley which runs across the field and crosses the footbridge, will be diverted to an alternative route to the north east along the lone of telegraph poles and across a culvert to re-connect to the current definitive point at the field boundary. A part length of Footpath 46 Great Horkesley running across the field will be diverted to an alternative route around the field boundary for a distance of 160 metres to where it connects to Footpath 8. A part length of Footpath 8 Great Horkesley which runs across the field to where it connects to the highway known as Nayland Road will be diverted to the field boundary to the north of the property known as the Rose and Crown public house to connect to the Nayland Road but 116 metres further south along the highway than the current path. A part length of Footpath 8 Great Horkesley commencing from where it connects to the highway known as Boxted Church Road and running across the garden of the property known as Baytrees House will be extinguished as it is not required for public use.

A copy of the above Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Colchester Library and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of an Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.

The new Orders come into effect on 26th April, 2017, but if any person aggrieved by an order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 4th May, 2017 make an application to the High Court. (The Folley, Layer-de-la-Haye) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Folley, Layer-de-la-Haye in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Abberton Road for a distance of approximately 110 m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th July 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD03153355657 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while main works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

An alternative route is available via Malting Green Road, The Folley, Abberton Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 17th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rectory Hill, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Hill, Wivenhoe in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 100 m Southeast of its junction with Belle Vue Road, for a distance of approximately 112 m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th July 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EC30034769045 - UK Power Networks) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electrical service works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via St Osyth Road, Brightlingsea Road, Broad Lanes, Colchester Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(George Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Maidenburgh Street, Colchester) Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of George Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Williams Walk, a distance of approximately 90 m.



2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on Maidenburgh Street, Colchester, as detailed in 'The Colchester Borough (Maidenburgh Street, Colchester) (Prohibition of Entry) Order 1993 for the duration of the closure.



The Closure/Suspension is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (NK100/SSEJBU30608DW/1 - Virgin Media) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while expose swept tee and fit duct termination point works are undertaken by Virgin Media.

An alternative route is available via East Stockwell Street, Williams Walk, Maidenburgh Street.

The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Belle Vue Road, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Belle Vue Road, Wivenhoe in the Borough of Colchester, froma point approximately 140 m North East of its junction with Park road, for a distance of approximately 35 m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th July 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000593054 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution. An alternative route is available via Rectory Road, Stanley Road, Ernest Road, Belle Vue Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 17th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
