(Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.21) Order 201
* Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: 1. To revoke the existing ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions and extend the existing ‘Limited Waiting Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm 2 hours no return within 2 hours’ on the following length of Crouch Street in the Borough of Colchester: Road Description Crouch Street, Colchester NORTH SIDE: i. From a point approximately 8.8 metres west of its junction with Rawstorn Road, west for a distance of approximately 5 metres. ii. From a point approximately 30.1 metres west of its junction with Rawstorn Road, west for a distance of approximately 3.1 metres. 2. To revoke the existing ‘Limited Waiting Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm 2 hours no return within 2 hours’ restrictions and replace with ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on the following length of Crouch Street in the Borough of Colchester: Road Description Crouch Street, Colchester NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 33.2 metres west of its junction with Rawstorn Road, west for a distance of approximately 15 metres. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) Order 2014 by substituting tile number TL990 247 revision 1 to revision 2. (Footpath 37, Dedham Footcrossing, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 37, Dedham Footcrossing, Dedham, in the Borough of Colchester, from a point 20 metres either side of the crossing. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th May 2017 to 18th May 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while track renewal works are undertaken. No alternative route available. The Order will come into effect on 8th May 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Liz Burr, Head of Network Management, County Hall, Chelmsford (St Botolphs Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Botolphs Street, Colchester in the Colchester District, from Priory Street for a distance of approximately 69 metres to its junction with Osborne Street. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2017 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP20153031171 – Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while build outs removal works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via High Street, East Hill, Brook Street, Magdalen Street, St Botolphs Circus, St Botolphs Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 1st May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (George Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Maidenburgh Street, Colchester) Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: 1. To temporarily close that length of George Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Williams Walk, a distance of approximately 90 m. 2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction on Maidenburgh Street, Colchester, as detailed in ‘The Colchester Borough (Maidenburgh Street, Colchester) (Prohibition of Entry) Order 1993 for the duration of the closure. The Closure/Suspension is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (NK100/ SSEJBU30608DW/1 - Virgin Media) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while expose swept tee and fit duct termination point works are undertaken by Virgin Media. An alternative route is available via East Stockwell Street, Williams Walk, Maidenburgh Street. The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Artillery Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Artillery Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Kimberley Road for a distance of approximately 25 m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000591467 – National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution. An alternative route is available via Barrack Street, Port Lane, Artillery Street, Kimberley Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier (Belle Vue Road, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Belle Vue Road, Wivenhoe in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 140 m North East of its junction with Park road, for a distance of approximately 35 m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th July 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000593054 – National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution. An alternative route is available via Rectory Road, Stanley Road, Ernest Road, Belle Vue Road and vice versa.
