Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking and Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.20) Order 201*
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To revoke the 'Disabled Badge Holders Only' restrictions on the following length of roads in the Borough of Colchester:

Road Description

Harsnett Road, South Side: from a point approximately 22 metres west Colchester of its junction with Port Lane to a point approximately

5.5 metres west of that point.

Queen Mary East Side: from the north-western corner of No.21 Avenue, southwards for a distance of approximately 9.6 metres.

(Footpath 17, Footpath 4, Footpath 14, Tiptree and Messing-Cum-Inworth) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 17, Footpath 4, Footpath 14, Tiptree and Messing-Cum-Inworth in the Borough of Colchester as specified.
(St Osyth Road, Alresford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Osyth Road, Alresford in the Tendring District, from 120m north of its junction with Cockaynes Lane for a distance of 80m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th June 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD037SM53491591 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement manhole frame and cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via St Osyth Road, Wivenhoe Road, Alresford Road, Rectory Hill, Rectory Road, The Cross, Colchester Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th June 2017 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever
is the earlier.
(Holland Road, Little Clacton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Holland Road, Little Clacton in the Tendring District, from approximately 100m from its junction with The Street for a distance approximately 20m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th June 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000583734 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution. An alternative route is available via Thorpe Road, Thorpe Road Roundabout, Stephenson Road West, Centenary Way, Centenary Way Roundabout, Montana Roundabout, London Road B1441, London Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19th June 2017 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever
is the earlier.
(Frinton Road, Frinton and Walton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frinton Road, Frinton and Walton in the Tendring District, from its junction with Halstead Road to its junction with Chestnut Avenue for a distance of approximately 217m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th May 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2205620 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while zebra crossing improvements works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Frinton Road, Halstead Road, Walton Road, Elm Tree Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bounstead Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bounstead Road, Colchester in the Colchester District, from a point approximately 135m south of its junction with Berechurch Hall Road, for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd June 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD037SM53514737 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement manhole frame and cover works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Berechurch Hall Road, Layer Road, High Road, Malting Green Road, Abberton Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22nd June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Park Road, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Wivenhoe in the Colchester District, from its junction with Bobbits Way to its junction with Queens Road, a distance of approximately 187m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th May 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2224281 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Park Road, Rebow Road, High Street, Queens Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2017 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever
is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maidenburgh Street, Colchester in the Colchester District (B), from its junction with George Street to its junction St Helen's Lane for a distance of approximately 76m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd May 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD03153178158/01 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
1. To temporarily close to all traffic Maidenburgh Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with George Street to its junction with St Helen's Lane for a distance of approximately 76m.

2. To temporarily suspend the No Through Traffic restriction on Maidenburgh Street as detailed in 'The Colchester (East Stockwell Street, Stockwell and Maidenburgh Street)(Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 1978' for the duration of this closure.

An alternative route is available via - Northbound - Maidenburgh Street, Northgate Street, Middle Mill Road, St Peters Street, Middleborough, North Hill, Middleborough Roundabout, Balkerne Hill Southbound, Maldon Road Roundabout, Southway Eastbound, Headgate, Head Street,
High Street.
Southbound - George Street, High Street, East Hill, Brook Street, Magdalen, Balkerne Hill, Middleborough, St Peters Street, Maidenburgh Street. The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hunters Chase, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hunters Chase, Ardleigh in the Tendring District, from its junction with Dedham Road/ Ardleigh Road to its junction with Coggeshall Road a distance of approximately 1055 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd May 2017 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2225100 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Connaught Avenue, Frinton and Walton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Connaught Avenue, Frinton and Walton in the Tendring District, from approximately 10m either side of the level crossing, a distance of approximately 65m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th June 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (KL165TWN-68-76-190617 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Pole Barn Lane, Cliff Way, Waltham Way, Quendon Way, Rainham Way, Woodberry Way, The Parade, Church Road, Walton Road and vice versa.

to revision 2.
