(A137 Colchester Road/Harwich Road, Ardleigh/ Lawford) (Restricted Road and 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 201*
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To extend the existing 40MPH Speed limit on A137 Harwich Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Coggeshall Road, south west then west for a total distance of approximately 825 metres to the existing 30MPH speed limit located at a point approximately 930 metres east of its junction with Wick Lane (eastern boundary of cemetery). 'The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Restricted Roads) (No.4) Order 2008' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to A137 Colchester Road, Ardleigh only. This restriction shall continue in force by virtue of this order.
'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Tendring District) (40MPH Speed Limit) (No.2) Order 2010' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to 'A137 Colchester Road to John de Bois Hill to Fox Street, Ardleigh & Great Bromley' and 'Harwich Road (A137), Ardleigh & Lawford. These restrictions shall continue in force by virtue of this order.
