Essex County Council (Blind Lane, Tolleshunt Knights/Tolleshunt D'arcy) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blind Lane, in the Parish of Tolleshunt Knights/Tolleshunt D'arcy in the District of Maldon from its junction with Oxley Hill north for a distance of approximately 1.3km to its junction with Rectory Road. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2017 for three days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Oxley Hill, Top Road, Rectory Road and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 9th January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Street/Woodham Road, Stow Maries) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street/ Woodham Road, in the Parish of Stow Maries in the District of Maldon, approximately 1550 metres from its junction with B1012 Lower Burnham Road, east for a distance of approximately 1150 metres to its junction with Hagg Hill.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16 January 2017 for five days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing is undertaken. The alternative route will be via B1012 Lower Burnham Road, Fambridge Road, Latchingdon Road, Stow Road, and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 16 January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Arbour Lane, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Arbour Lane, in the Parish of Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon from a point approximately 30 metres north of its junction with School Road for a distance of approximately 40m north.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th January 2017 for four days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken. The alternative route will be via School Road, Maypole Road, Blacksmith Lane and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 16th January 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Tillingham) (Restricted Road and 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2016
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To introduce a 40MPH Speed limit on B1021 Tillingham Road, Grange Road & B1021 South Street, Tillingham in the District of Maldon as specified (the roads are currently derestricted): Road Description
B1021 Tillingham From its junction with Grange Road, west for Road, Tillingham a distance of approximately 490 metres. Grange Road, From its junction with B1021 Tillingham Road,
Tillingham east for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
B1021 South Street, From its junction with B1021 Tillingham Road Tillingham and Grange Road, north for a distance of
approximately 36 metres.
The Essex County Council (various, Tillingham) (Restricted Road) Order 2007 is hereby revoked. The restrictions contained within the aforementioned order shall continue in force by virtue of this order. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 9 January 2017.
Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose. Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Footpath 22 Woodham Mortimer
District of Maldon Public Path Diversion Order 2016
The above Order, confirmed on 14th December, 2016 will divert a part length of public Footpath 22 Woodham Mortimer at the property known as The Dell in the District of Maldon as shown on the Order map contained in this Order. The footpath which will be 2 metres in width is being diverted from a diagonal line across the garden to an alternative route around the property boundary to the north and east. A copy of the Order and Order Map have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Maldon District Council Offices, Princes Road, CM9 5DL and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.
The Order will come into effect on 11 th January, 2017 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
