Notice of Variation given under sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 of On-Street Parking Permit Charges in the Braintree District Area (Braintree District)

(Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Colchester Borough Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty-one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 18th July 2022. The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits - all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

An alternative route is available via Old Church Lane, Hedingham Road, Bulmer Tye, Ballingdon Hill, Ballingdon Street, Cross Street, Stour Street, Gregory Street, Gainsborough Road, Melford Road, A134 Long Melford Bypass, High Street, Westgate Street, Windmill Hill, Clare Road, Lower Road, Lower Street, The Green, Poole Street, Cavendish Road, Market Hill, Nethergate Street, Stoke Road, Moor Hall Road, Mill Green, School Green, Lower Green, The Street, Chapel Street, Baythorne End, Mill Road, Ridgewell Road, Four Ash Hill, The Causeway, Chapel Road, Church Road, Yeldham Road, Crouch Green, Swan Street, Potter Street, Queen Street, Halstead Road, Halstead Road -A1124 and vice versa (with access onto A131). The Order will come into effect on 30th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Burnthouse Road, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burnthouse Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Earls Colne Road for a distance of approximately 620m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th July 2022 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT004-E-WECNCR - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre duct laying works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. An alternative route is available via Earls Colne Road, Newbarn Road and vice versa (with access only into Burnthouse Road, Flories Road and Brook House Road). The Order came into effect on 16th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Forrey Green, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Forrey Green, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with School Road to its junction with Innham Hill a distance of approximately 2130m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th July 2022 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2330087 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Innham Hill, Lamb Lane, Harrow Cross Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 16th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Tey Road/Earls Colne Road, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tey Road/Earls Colne Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from the junction with America Road to the junction with Burnthouse Road a distance of approximately 255m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th July 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT003-E-WECNCR - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. An alternative route is available via America Road, Coggeshall Road, Colne Road, Tey Road, Buckley's Lane, The Street, Brook House Road, Newbarn Road, Earls Colne Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Catley Road, White Colne in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 50m south west of its junction with Brambles Lane for a distance of approximately 110m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th July 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30063546705 - UK Power Networks). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harvey Street, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mallows Field for a distance of approximately 175m in a south easterly direction.
