that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To introduce a 20mph Speed Limit on the following lengths of roads (Rowhedge Village), East Donyland in the Borough of Colchester (the roads are currently 30mph by virtue of street lighting):

(B1033 Colchester Road, Weeley) (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) (Proper Fest) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily introduce a 30mph Speed Limit on B1033 Colchester Road, from its junction with the A133/B1033 Weeley services roundabout, east to its junction with the B1033/ B1441 roundabout. The restrictions are scheduled to commence on the 28/08/2021 for 3 days between the hours of 8:30am-11.50pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and are required for the duration of the Clacton Family, Proper Fest and Weeley Tribute festivals being held over 3 consecutive days at Hawk Fruit Farm, Weeley. The restriction is required in order to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public and in particular, as a result of the events in progress, pedestrians walking along the verges and the edge of the carriageway, particularly in the evenings. The Orders will come into operation on 28/08/2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the events have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(De Vere Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of De Vere Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with The Commons to its junction with Prettygate Road a distance of approximately 235m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th September 2021 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2318580 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via The Commons, Prettygate Road and vice versa.

(Grove Road/Barbrook Lane, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of Grove Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 15m east of its junction wtih Heycroft Lane for a distance of approximately 300m in a north easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Barbrook Lane, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Grove Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a north westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 20th September 2021 for 54 days, or where stated on a valid permit (ZP010F2073-GTC/B/CF/EUL - Gas Transportation Co Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Gas Transportation Co Ltd. An alternative route is available via Grove Road, Barbrook Lane, Maypole Road, Church Road and vice versa or Wilkin Drive, Kiltie Road, Grove Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Heath Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Heath Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Straight Road a distance of approximately 400m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th September 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2318515 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Straight Road, Chaucer Way, Shakespeare Road, Church Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Home Farm Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Home Farm Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Harwich Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 st September 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEA51924555 - Openreach). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Newbridge Road, Tiptree/Layer Marney in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 685m south west of its junction with Stockhouse Road for a distance of approximately 320m in a south westerly direction. that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stones Green Road, Tendring in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Heath Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. (Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway (No.10) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough Df Colchester as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway Dn the above length of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 2nd September 2021 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
