(Footpath 8, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 8, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Elm Close in southerly direction to its junction with Byway 20, Great Bentley, a distance of approximately 1151 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 28/07/2021 to 28/01/2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and while new train carnages are standing on footpath crossing.
The alternative route will be via Birch Avenue, Station Road, Plough Road, Byway 20 and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 27/07/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
