(Artillery Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Artillery Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 20m north of the junction with King Stephen Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th August 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010643410/2 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safely of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Artillery Street, Barrack Street, Port Lane, Kimberley Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Colchester Road, Lawford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Lawford in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Mill Hill for a distance of approximately 70m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001076835 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Coxs Hill, Dale Hall Roundabout, Long Road, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Halstead Road, Eight Ash Green & Essex Yeomanry Way, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Halstead Road, Eight Ash Green in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with Halstead Road Roundabout, Eight Ash Green to its junctions with Halstead Road Roundabout, Stanway a distance of approximately 410m.

2. To temporarily close that length of Essex Yeomanry Way, Stanway (Southbound) from its junction with Halstead Road, Roundabout, Stanway to its junction with Tollgate Roundabout Stanway, a distance of approximately 490m.

3. To temporarily close that length of Essex Yeomanry Way, Stanway (Northbound) from its junction with Western Approach Roundabout to its junction with Halstead Road Roundabout, Stanway a distance of approximately 330m.

4. To temporarily close the whole circuit of Halstead Road Roundabout, Stanway a total distance of approximately 370m.

5. To temporarily close that length of Halstead Road, Eight Ash Green from its junction with Old Halstead Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a westerly direction.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harts Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Ipswich Road for a distance of approximately 95m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30057900457 - UK Power Networks). (Salisbury Avenue, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length of Salisbury Avenue, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Maldon Road to its junction with Butt Road a distance of approximately 220m as detailed in 'The Colchester Borough (Salisbury Avenue, Colchester) Traffic Regulation Order 1986'. The suspension is scheduled to commence on 10th August 2021 for 10 nights (20:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2309903 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The suspension is required to allow access while machine surfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council on Butt Road.

(Various Roads, Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.1) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Tendring as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Watting, No Loading and No Stepping

at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence after 15th July 2021, as stated on a valid permit.
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or
displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then
re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes
will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via
letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast
installation cabling works are undertaken by County Broadband.
The Order came into effect on 15th July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months
or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
