(Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment Number 22) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32,35,45, 46,49 and 53 and Paris III and IV of Schedule 9 of tie Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To amend restrictions in the Borough of Colchester as follows: to replace current double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) with red route 'No Stopping At Any Time' restrictions on Broman's Lane, from its junction with East Road to its junction with the access road to the country park; to introduce red route 'No Stopping At Any Time' restrictions on both sides of East Road from a point about 50 metres west of its junction with Fen Lane to a point about 60 metres north of its junction with Bromans Lane and to introduce red route 'No Stopping At Any Time' restrictions on both sides of East Road from the shared boundary of Shared Haven and Dieu Guarde in a southerly then westerly direction for 160 metres. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TM055147, TM060145, TM060147, TM060150 with revision 1 and introducing TM055145 at revision 0.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on Monday 16th August 2021.

Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Chitts Hill, West Bergholt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chitts Hill, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 20m north of the junction with Cooks Lane tor a distance of approximately 3165m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th September 2021 for 56 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2315798 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The closure is required for the safely of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Chitts Hill, Argents Lane, Spring Lane, Halstead Road, Halstead Road Roundabout, A1124 Halstead Road, A12, Essex Yeomanry Way, A12, A1124 Halstead Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 22nd July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colne Road, BrightJingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colne Road, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Nelson Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30007261831 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. (Constable Avenue, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Constable Avenue, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with St Johns Road to its junction with Cottage Grove a distance of approximately 835m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2313506 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Greyhound Hill, Langham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Greyhound Hill, Langham in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 165m north east of its junction with School Road for a distance of approximately 265m in a north easterly direction. that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of New Church Road, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Lexden Road to its junction with Chapel Road a distance of approximately 450m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th August 2021 tor 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2316914 - Essex County Council). (Osborne Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Temporary Suspension of Bus Lane) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of Osborne Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 80m north west of its junction with Arthur Street to its junction with Vineyard Gate a distance of approximately 38m.

2. To temporarily suspend the bus lane in that length of Osborne Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Stanwell Street for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction as detailed in 'The Colchester Borough (Various Roads, Colchester) (Reserved Bus Lane) Order 2000' for the duration of the above closure only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2267206 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Osborne Street. The Order will come into effect on 22nd July 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Warren Lane, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Warren Lane, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Blackberry Road to its junction with Bailey Dale a distance of approximately 100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th August 2021 for 2 nights (21:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WBLDMM3S004 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. (Wick Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wick Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 655m south east of its junction with Old Ipswich Road for a distance of approximately 145m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEA50990673 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Colchester Road, Peldon) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction in that length of Colchester Road, Peldon in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Langenhoe Hall Lane tor a distance of approximately 685m in a southerly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 26th July 2021 for 3 days (10:00-15:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2288379 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Coles Oak Lane, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coles Oak Lane, Dedham in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 305m west of its junction with Monks Lane North for a distance of approximately 85m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th July 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30015464223 -UK Power Networks). (The Commons, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of The Commons, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Van Dyck Road for a distance of approximately 200m in a north westerly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction in the above length of road tor the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

(Harts Lane, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harts Lane, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 135m south east of its junction with Old Ipswich Road for a distance of approximately 230m in a north easterly direction.
