(Footpath 8, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 8, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Elm Close in southerly direction to its junction with Byway 20, Great Bentley, a distance of approximately 1151 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28/07/2021 to 28/01/2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and while new train carriages are standing on footpath crossing. The alternative route will be via Birch Avenue, Station Road, Plough Road, Byway 20 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27/07/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.20) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45,46,49,53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To provide parking spaces and electric vehicle charge points for the sole use of electric vehicles for a maximum period of 4 hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm, No Return Within 2 Hours' and Electric Vehicles Charging Only 6pm-8am restriction whilst being charged at the following locations. The electric vehicles occupying the spaces must be plugged in to the electric vehicle charge point. "Electric vehicle" means any vehicle, which is propelled entirely or partially by electricity and is capable of being charged from an external source.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting map tiles: TL990 247 Revision 0 to Revision 1 and TL985 240 Revision 0 to Revision 1.
