Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made an Order under Sections 9 and 10 and Paris III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To revoke existing restrictions on Balkerne Gardens on an experimental basis; to introduce an experimental 'Restricted Zone (NoWaiting AtAnyTime and No Loading 10am-11pm): on Balkeme Gardens for its entire length; to introduce an experimental 'Bus and Coach Parking Only' bay and 'Loading only' bay on Balkeme Gardens, in the Borough of Colchester. This Order will be incorporated on an experimental basis into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile number TL990 250 with revision 1. Date of operation: The Order will come into effect on 19 July and may last up to 18 months. Any alterations to this Order which will render it less restrictive may be authorised by the Parking Partnership Group Manager without the requirement to re-advertise the Order under Section 10(2) of the said Act, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police. 1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Tendring as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting,

No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on

the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works are scheduled to commence after 15th July 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
